ROOT CANAL

Pain-free root canal treatments are provided at Dental Health
Clinic.

Root canal treatment is often needed when the pulp is infected, usually due to tooth
decay or damage to the tooth. The procedure involves extracting the infected pulp
tissue from inside the tooth, cleaning it up to ensure no infection remains and filling
the space to seal it and protect the root canal from further infection. It can be done
as SINGLE Visit Root Canal also if the infection is under control.

CROWNS

Dental Health Clinic improves the appearance of your teeth with dental crowns.

A dental crown is a restoration that is placed over an affected tooth to amend its
shape, size or strength. Crowns are typically used to cover a heavily filled, decayed
or broken tooth as well as to provide strength after a root canal treatment.

For many years, traditional metal-based crowns have been used to strengthen or
rebuild teeth. Today, porcelain crowns and pressed ceramic crowns, such as E-max
crowns, are now an effective, aesthetically-pleasing option which are completely
metal-free. They are made to match the exact colour, texture and translucency of
your natural teeth. E-max crowns have improved strength due to the way they are
constructed in the laboratory.

BRIDGES

Get bridgework done for a permanent solution to missing teeth at Dental Health Clinic.

If you are missing one or more teeth a bridge is a permanent solution which will look
and feel just like your natural teeth. Unlike dentures, a bridge is not removable,
giving you increased support and stability within the mouth.

Bridges are natural-looking artificial teeth that can replace a section of missing teeth.
This treatment crowns the two teeth either side of the ‘missing teeth’ and false teeth
are fixed to them, therefore ‘bridging the gap’. It is important to replace missing teeth
to prevent stress on other teeth and the shifting of adjacent teeth.

IMPLANTS

Replace missing teeth with dental implants at Dental Health Clinic.

FAQ’s

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are small titanium posts with specially activated surfaces. They are placed (implanted) in your jawbone to function in a similar way to a natural tooth root. Your bone grows onto the implants in a process called osseointegration. After a few months the implants will form a permanent part of your body.

Are implants safe and how long do they last?

Present day implants are based on scientific evidence and have shown a success rate of more than 90%. We believe that implants are one of the most predictable forms of dental treatment, and in most cases a life-long solution.

Might I be suitable for implants?

At your initial consultation X-rays will be needed to see if you have enough quality and quantity of bone and a detailed medical history taken. Some medical conditions can affect the bone growing onto the implant and will need careful assessment. In general, most people are suitable candidates for implants.

Multiple Teeth Implant

Dental implants can also be used to support multiple teeth. This usually involves the placement of two implants, which are used to support a fixed bridge.

Full Arch Implants

As an alternative to a denture it is possible to replace all the teeth in an arch, anchored by several implants. The number of implants required is dependent on the clinical assessment of each individual case.

ORTHODONTICS

Correct misaligned or crooked teeth with orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign®️
invisible braces at Dental Health Clinic.

Orthodontics is the method of straightening and aligning teeth through the treatment
of braces, including fixed or clear removable braces.  We offer clear removable
aligners, fixed braces and lingual braces.
For the timeline of your treatment you will need to see the dentist for a full
assessment and x-rays.

VENEERS

Improve the appearance of your smile with porcelain veneers at Dental Health Clinic.

Porcelain veneers are an ideal solution to cosmetically improve a smile while still
maintaining healthy tooth structure. Veneers are thin, tooth coloured porcelain shells
that are custom-made to bond to the front surface of your teeth. Veneers can best be
described as being like false fingernails for your smile.

Porcelain veneers can:
Improve colour of teeth
Close spaces between teeth
Enhance shape of teeth

Amend the length or size of teeth
Realign crooked teeth
Maintain your natural tooth structure

GUM OR PERODONTAL DISEASE

Gum disease (periodontal disease) is a chronic bacterial infection.

Often, you cannot
tell that you have gum disease unless you have been assessed by a dentist.
Everyone has bacteria in their mouth, but certain people are at a higher risk for
developing gum disease due to their genetics, being overweight, smoking or their
age (65+). The progression of gum disease can be stopped if the bacteria is properly
removed from the pockets with thorough and frequent treatment.

CHILDREN DENTISTRY

We know that taking your kids for a dental check-up has never been easy!

It is recommended that children should go to the dentist with their parents at the
earliest possible age. We recommend every 6 months thereafter, this will let them
get used to the noises, smells and surroundings and prepare them for future visits.
We pride ourselves on the care we offer children. Children are seen at an early age
and taught how to care for their teeth.

DENTURES

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues.
Dentures provided by us is natural looking and comfortable.

Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS) Denture

BPS brings originality to the tooth structure and provides a natural look. It can
replicate the masticatory process. A person experiences very less difficulty in
daily-life activities such as eating or talking by wearing these devices. These
dentures come relatively at a high cost but the advantages these provide are
remarkable when compared to the conventional dentures. The nature of the
material used for fabrication of BPS denture is of the best quality and hence, it
is more preferable over other dentures.

Removable Dentures
A Removable Partial Denture is a type of denture for those patients who desire
a tooth replacement for functional or aesthetic purposes. It is carried out when
the patient is unable or is incompatible with other types of denture such as a
fixed partial denture, due to the lack of a tooth to provide as a support.

ORAL SURGERY

WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL
There are usually four wisdom teeth at each corner of the tooth line.

They may
get stuck or emerge partially due to lack of space. Then they are called
impacted teeth. Such teeth can cause many dental issues like infection, gum

A loose-fitting denture is a common problem for thousands of people. Securing
dentures using dental implants restores chewing function and reduces irritation of the
gums, leading to an enhanced quality of life. The additional support and stability give
the wearer confidence to eat what they want and smile and laugh without being self-
conscious.
